MCF Purpose Statement:
"Macedonian Call Foundation exists primarily to assist the ministry of stateside assignment Southern Baptist
Missionaries with free transportation and housing and to be directly involved in Great Commission mission
projects."
 Information for Missionaries:
  Requests:

All requests for transportation are to be made in writing to: inquiries@mcftx.org; we do not accept telephone requests.
When contacting MCF about a vehicle, we need the following information from missionaries so that we can fit the family
into the right size vehicle.

To inquire about availability of a vehicle, please submit the following in writing:

* Exact dates of your stateside assignment and specific dates (beginning and ending) needed for the vehicle.
* City and State where you will be living.
* How may are in your family?

We only accept requests 6 to 9 months before stateside assignment due to change dates.

Driver Age requirements:

Missionaries approved to use a MCF vehicle are to be between the ages of 25 and 70 with U.S. driver's licenses.
This stipulation is from our insurance provider. Only the missionary and spouse are to pick up the vehicle and return it.

Time Limitations:

Due to demand for vehicles we need to limit the use of the vehicle to 12 months.

Mission Service Stipulation:

When vehicles are available after assisting SBC/IMB missionaries, other mission sending organization missionaries are
taken under consideration on a case-by-care basis.

Area of travel limitations:

Because of high mileage on some vehicles, our requirements are to restrict use of all vehicles to:

Texas, New Mexico, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma.

Missionaries residing in other states may want to contact other Macedonian Call sister organizations (see information on
our ‘Home’ page).

Reservation Approval:

Your request will be sent to the person who schedules the vehicles for MCF to determine availability.

Notification of Acceptance:

You will be sent MCF’s policy upon notification of acceptance. All Requests for insurance will be made only through our
office when the car is picked up in Houston.

Cost:

After you receive the Notification of Acceptance, a $100 deposit is required to place your name on the calendar to secure the
reservation. Deposits not received 30 days before the date requested will automatically cancel the reservation and release the
vehicle to other missionaries.

Maintenance and Insurance:

The missionary is required to pay for their insurance and regular maintenance and repairs while using the MCF vehicle.

We do not provide roadside assistance when one of the vehicles breaks down. That is why we request frequent and regular
maintenance being done. We do repairs before you pick up the vehicle. You do the repairs while it is in your possession.

Background:

Over 1100 Southern Baptist missionaries have been furnished a vehicle for free use during their stateside assignment
(formerly furlough) in the United States by Macedonian Call Foundation in the past 27 years. This volunteer ministry is
headed by Harvey Kneisel, Emeritus Minister of Missions, Houston’s First Baptist Church (HFBC). Members of HFBC
have furnished nearly 50% of the donated vehicles over the years. We rely totally on gifts and donations to provide
this service.

Donations:

The next time you trade automobiles, you might want to consider the option of letting your car join the ministry.

Macedonian Call Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax deductible foundation. Donors receive income tax benefit for
automobiles donated. These automobiles are used by our missionaries for free transportation alleviating one of their major
needs during their few weeks to 12 months in the states.
